Quiet living in the city center in a baroque house with the magical garden. Comfortable apartment in Prague downtown with two bedrooms, big living room/kitchen and huge bathroom is located on the second floor. Families welcome, main advantage of apartment is its location: you live in a busy street Vodičkova, but the loudest sounds you’ll hear are the bells of the nearby church of Our Lady of the Snows or the public piano from Franciscan garden, which is very close by.

Guests Access

Guests have access to all facilities of the apartment. There is a fully furnished kitchen, huge bathroom, wi-fi, the iron with ironing board, fan. And big terrace, where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or barbecue.

The house is located next to a very interesting house Langhans with Foto Škoda shop and cafe and gallery of “Člověk v tísni” charity organisation.

Opposite to the house is the entrance to the Lucerna Arcades with two cinemas. Neighboring is Světozor passage with great ice cream and cinema, which shows usually good movies. The house itself has a small but magical garden where is cafe in operation.

Who was Max Urban?

Max Urban was one of the Czech film industry pioneers and known architect in the same time. His works are: Barrandov Studios buildings, Barrandovské terasy, city master plan of Prague (around 1930). Max Urban was one of the owners of the house and garden in Vodičkova 35.

Getting Around

Directly in front of the house stoping tram No. 3, 9, 14, 24 Wenceslas Square, 100 meters from the house is the entrance to the subway A Můstek with transfer to metro line B. Metro C – Museum station – you get a five-minute walk through Wenceslas Square.

Main train station (“Hlavní nádraží”) is 10 minutes walk from the house. Bus station Florenc is only two metro stations from here or four stations by 3, 9 and 14 trams.

You can reach our apartment in Prague Downtown from the Vaclav Havel Airport either by public transport (bus 119, A metro stops, exit the Můstek station) or shuttle bus running on route Airport – V Celnici (near Náměstí republiky subway station).

Parking: You can park for a short time on the Karlovo náměstí in one of the paid parking, for longer parking we strongly recommend P + R parking.
